In 2007, Beijing University of Applied Sciences initiated the "Sunshine Engineering Education Program" public welfare aid activity, and held a "Sunshine Class" every year for 5 consecutive years, and recruited 50 students to Beijing for free at designated universities in poverty-stricken areas.
In 2008, the College added a "Love Class" to train 50 college students in the earthquake-stricken areas.
In 2009, the School of Economics and Economics Conference approved once again the training of 100 students from poor areas to enter Beijing University of Applied Sciences for free enrollment and all employment arrangements.
In 2011, in response to the requirements of the aided areas, our school continued to implement the "Caring for Aid-Sunshine Project" education and employment plan, and set up a caring college separately, and decided to recruit 500 students in the corresponding poverty alleviation areas for 5 consecutive years from 2011 to 2015 Entering Beijing University of Applied Sciences for two years, the tuition and miscellaneous fees, accommodation fees, installation fees, teaching materials and materials, military training fees, insurance and other total 25,180 yuan during the two-year university.
In 2018, it was approved by the college and university conference to continue the " Love Class " sunshine project. 200 people were recruited into the Beijing Institute of Applied Technology for the poor areas. The two-year course was free of tuition and accommodation. During the study period, each student has a scholarship of 2,800 yuan per month.
